The 3rd annual Somms Under Fire™ Wine and Food Pairing Competition is brought to you by Keeper Collection, LLC. Keeper Collection is excited to have The Wine & Food Foundation of Texas as a presenting Partner for this year’s event. The entry period has closed, with the online testing of entrants to be completed in September 2013. The 3 winning competitors will be announced on October 23, 2013 between 11 am and 12 N CST on #SommChat on twitter and on Keeper Collection’s Facebook page. From the creators of Chefs Under Fire™, Keeper Collection is pleased to announce Sommelier Scott Ota, Arro Restaurant, as the 2013 Somms Under Fire Champion. As the Winner of 2013 Somms Under Fire, Scott Ota won a Grand Prize of a one-week Wine Internship in Burgundy, France under the tutelage of Author, Master of Wine, & Burgundy expert, Jasper Morris, MW. Scott also won a $1000 stipend for his travels for the Burgundy Internship!
