Not only did Somms Under Fire™ educate our community on the key elements of the Perfect Pairing, 100% of the proceeds benefitted The Texas Sommelier Conference, thanks to the co-host The Wine & Food Foundation of Texas. As the Winner of 2013 Somms Under Fire, Scott Ota won a Grand Prize of a one-week Wine Internship in Burgundy, France with author, Master of Wine, and Burgundy expert, Jasper Morris, MW, as well as a $1000 stipend for his travels for the Burgundy Internship!
